take your wings outside.

there's nothing quite like driving under dim skies with rain pouring down on your car, as the numb feeling of vicodin takes a hold of you, and guns n' roses, "november rain," plays in the background...

"live free or die hard," was an outstanding film. it was a nice addition to the series, and made me think how i could watch a new john mclain film every year for the rest of my life.

goodburger/taco ardiente, right next to lookers on fowler street, has the best, thee BEST, hard shell taco and cheeseburger i've ever eaten. period.

evening with kevin smith 2 for fourteen bucks. bamf!

i'll probably be drunk this evening. really drunk...

i need to get my pole polished.

my hand is throbbin.

oh yeah... THE DARKNESS ON 360 IS THE NEW GEARS OF WARS... meaning it's fucking good and has my attention held 24/7. get the game and indulge in a top cow comic game... you'll think, "why don't they just make comicbook games like this and not comicbook movies like, "spiderman 3?" it's such a good fucking game. the same people who made, "chronicles of riddick: escape from butcher bay," made this... it's worth it.

another game i had forgotten but loved...

i beat, "bully," and decided to go through old games i hadn't played in a while, and i picked up, "killzone," with a fondness in mind, dusted it off, and restarted the game from the scratch...

i really do love this game dearly... too many people expected halo on playstation when this came out, but you can't look at it that way... you have to look at it for what it is... it... is it's own game, not halo. and truthfully... i like, "killzone," more than i like halo... and i fucking really like halo, so... yeah.

oh yeah, when i die, let it be known, at my memorial, i want lynard skynard's, "simple man," to play on repeat.

garth ennis and the technicolor comicbooks.

i must be out of my fucking mind... i just bid a total of over sixty bucks on two, very rare, and very long out of print graphic novels. both are the first two books that garth ennis ever did... in comics in general. these date back to '89, and haven't been in print since then... it'll be so worth it... fucking ennis rules.

good job jack thompson!, you fuckstick!

so, chris was right, and i didn't want to believe him... manhunt 2 is on hiatus until take two can figure out what their options are... fuck. i was really looking forward to that game.

did some running around today. bought some groceries and the reno 911 movie. a bit disappointed in the lack of special features... although the 20 minute jeff spoder house scene was funny.

i went to target and realized that i want to see every female that works there, naked. and possibly put fingers into orifices... hmmm...

on the comicbook front, i got my usual pull stuff... JLA, JSA, Powers, etc... and picked up the tpb for volume one of, "Justice," the alex ross painted JLA mini-series, and the tpb for garth ennis', "The Boys." really good stuff if you like to see superheroes die violently to keep the status quo in check.

a band i've been listening to a lot lately that you should listen to as well...

caspian is amazing... all of their stuff is good. you should also listen to:

-this will destroy you : young mountain.
-saxon shore : four months of darkness.

i saw the new coffee table book HBO put out to coincide with the finale of, "the sopranos," at BJ's, and if not for the delux hardcover edition coming out in october with added stuff... i would have bought it.

i also bought the 21st anniversary golden edition of, "the toxic avenger,"

i'd love to write more boring shit about my life, but i have some comics i wrote that i need to draw out while listening to the background ambience of patton oswalt...

p.s... aintitcool.com has a pick of harrison in indy gear on the set of the new film... bamp!

"i would rather learn brain surgery than start stand-up again." - dane cook.

i'd rather dane cook learn brain surgery as well, then he wouldn't annoy the fuck out of me with his fratboy douchebaggedness... here's a newsflash for some, i fucking hate dane cook.

true, at one point, i did find some of his... bits?, humorous, more specific, the stuff off of disc two of, "retalitation." but, aside from that, the guy is an asshole that people bow to for some reason as being really funny. he ripped off most of his material from louis ck and other GREAT comedians... fucking hate that guy. movie star shithead.

"1408." very impressive flick. i dug it quite a bit.

veruca salt's ep, "lords of sounds and lesser things," is a good chunk of music.

"jimmie's chicken shack," is playing next thursday here in town. i'll be in attendance.

"i thought i was looking at my mother's old douchebag, but that's back in ohio." -booger.

got the, "revenge of the nerds," boxset for five bucks. all four movies, the first with bonus stuff, with a great feature looking back on the film with most of the original cast, deleted scenes, and the fabled, horrendous, "revenge of the nerds," television pilot.

the film, after some time, still stands tall as a good comedy.

things to ponder.

before i begin, i never said my peace on the finale of, "the sopranos."

i was, like many others, incredibly unhappy with how david chase chose to complete a show i invested not only my time in, but myself as well.

now that some time has passed, i can see the logic behind his decisions, but still upset with the basic, "fuck you," he knowingly left us with.

i have been dealing with some insufferable back pains for two days now, that i'm treating with massive handfuls of motrin.

took puddin' to the vet yesterday, and she's doing really good which makes me very happy, and she got to hang out with all kinds of other cool dogs that made her go apeshit... like, "HEY DOUG! THERE'S ANOTHER DOG! HEY DOUG!? DO YOU SEE? HUH, DOUG, DO YOU SEE THAT OTHER DOG!? HEY DOG! HEY, YEAH YOU!... FUCK YOU! LET ME SNIFF YOUR ASS!"

went and saw, "fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer."

honestly, i wanted to say from the first fifteen minutes that this film was gonna be bad, but it was pretty amazing. the surfer was pretty awesome with laurence fishburne as his voice.

overall, aside from the glamoring of the team itself, the story was pretty strong. i didn't, however, care for how tim story did galactus.

after that, i went home and watched the special edition of, "fletch," ate a salami cibata sandwhich with red wine vinager, mayo, and mozzarella i made, took a nap, read my new comics, and then, went out and saw, "ratatouille," with mikey and colby. it was funny, like i expected it would be, and then got a pizza from stevie tomatos and hung out with my dog.

a game that currently holds my undivided attention which should be given a chance, should you have a ps2...

i killed the cd player in my carthree days ago, more reason to get an ipod with a wireless fm tuner, and thus used the tape player to listen to an album i had long forgotten was amazing...

sessions.

the neurologist says... i've got carpel tunnel... steroids to follow.

the depressions is flexing itself in and out of my life. some days i'm good, others, well... you get the idea.

the new alkaline trio single, "fire down below," is phenominal. i look forward to a new album.

"pan's labryinth," is a brilliant film. if you haven't seen it, you need to. stephen king called it the best film of '06... and it's a close fit between, "rocky balboa," and, "lady in the water."

"hostel part 2," was better than the first, by leaps and bounds, and i really loved the first one. good stuff.

i still like, "american pie 2."

i want to be in a relationship again, but i think right now, i'm too fucked up with head issues to even try, so i'm gonna seek out relationships in friendship form.

i'm gonna go back to reading comics.

"but i know the right thing to do... is leave you alone..."

i feel like i'm falling apart at the seams... and then i find that my therapist has a better grasp of my life than i do...

the new white stripes... is their best work to date. period. "a martyr for my love for you," is my favorite track. easily.

"the people under the stairs," is my favorite wes craven movie.

i've got new frames coming next week. new glasses are always interesting.

i'm tired of clinging to hope.

goodnight.

in the absence of perfection.

i don't seem to have the energy, will, or passion to do much of anything anymore, least of all, keep up writing in this blog.

so, rather than promise updates coming soon, i'll say this... i'll write blogs when i feel like it.

last night, i felt emotionally and physically strained. upon mike's urging, i talked to vince, and explained everything to him. how i was feeling, and why i had hesitations about talking to him.

the one thing i love about vince, is his understanding and goodwill attitude.

he's allowing me to work one day a week, and be on call in case of an emergency, rather than work nonstop and kill myself health wise.

i tried to do it, and thought i could make it work, and four years ago, i could have, but now... not so much.

my life is pretty dull right now. work, comics, sleep, repeat.

i got this really sweet, 36 by something sized poster of michael turner's roster of the justice league of america. that made me happy, as well as the 14 disc, ultimate superman set i got.

a new album you all need to get when released, because it's so good...

the reason why season six of smallville is fucking amazing...

one more episode left of the sopranos... this past sunday's... wow... a whole lot of good men... dead... just wow.

other forms of fun.

why not buy one of the many items i need, and give it to me for being awesome?...
